Booking Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your booking and participation in tours operated by Tilen Godeša s.p., Unec 117, 1381 Rakek, Slovenia (VAT SI34826696, registration 9199349000), trading as "Tilen Tours".

1. The tour

  • Full-day guided tour of Slovenia: Ljubljana → Soča Valley → Adriatic coast → Ljubljana.
  • Duration: approximately 10 hours (07:00 - 17:15).
  • Group size: 2 to 4 people.
  • Price: €149 per person. Optional homemade snack: €10 per person. Dog kennel included free.
  • Tour languages: Slovenian, English.

2. What's included / not included

Included: private guided tour, all transportation between Ljubljana and the listed destinations, pickup and drop-off at the agreed Ljubljana meeting point, local commentary.

Not included: lunch (optional restaurant stop, ordered individually), entrance fees to optional sites (e.g. Bled Castle), gratuities, travel insurance.

3. Booking and payment

Bookings are made through tilen-tours.com. Payment is taken in full at the time of booking via Stripe. Bookings must be made at least 4 days in advance.

4. Cancellations and refunds

  • 4 or more days before the tour: 100% refund.
  • Less than 4 days before the tour: 70% refund.
  • Cancellation by Tilen Tours (e.g. illness, severe weather, vehicle issue): 100% refund or rescheduling at your choice.
  • Refunds are issued to the same payment method used at booking, within 14 days.

5. Right of withdrawal (consumers)

This is a service contract for a specific date and time. Under the Slovenian Consumer Protection Act (ZVPot) and EU Directive 2011/83/EU, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to leisure services tied to a specific date or period. Cancellation is governed solely by section 4 above.

6. Liability

Tilen Tours is liable only for direct damage caused by gross negligence or wilful misconduct. We are not liable for:

  • indirect or consequential damages,
  • loss of personal belongings,
  • delays caused by weather, traffic, or third parties,
  • accidents not caused by negligence on our part.

Participants take part in the tour at their own discretion. We strongly recommend personal travel insurance.

7. Customer obligations

  • Be at the agreed pickup location at the agreed time.
  • Provide accurate booking information.
  • Follow reasonable safety instructions from the guide.
  • Pay for any costs caused by deliberate damage.

8. Out-of-court dispute resolution

We commit to resolving any dispute amicably. If we cannot reach agreement, you may use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

9. Governing law and venue

These terms are governed by Slovenian law. The competent court is the court at the registered seat of Tilen Godeša s.p.
